Getting Started with Ledger

Welcome to Ledger! If you're new to Ledger, follow these steps to set up your device and start securing your cryptocurrency.

Step 1: Unbox Your Ledger Device

• Carefully unbox your Ledger device and check the contents. You should find your Ledger hardware wallet, a USB cable, a getting started leaflet, and your recovery sheet.

Step 2: Download Ledger Live

• Visit ledger.com/start to download the Ledger Live application. Choose the version compatible with your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Step 3: Install Ledger Live

• Follow the on-screen instructions to install Ledger Live on your computer. After installation, open Ledger Live.

Step 4: Set Up Your Ledger Device

• Turn on your Ledger device by pressing the button on the device.

• Follow the instructions shown on the Ledger device and Ledger Live to initialize your device.

• Choose a PIN code and write down your recovery phrase on the recovery sheet provided.

Step 5: Add Accounts to Ledger Live

• Within Ledger Live, navigate to the "Accounts" tab and click on "Add account".

• Follow the instructions to add accounts for the cryptocurrencies you wish to manage.

Step 6: Receive Crypto

• Within Ledger Live, navigate to the "Receive" tab and select the account you want to credit.

• Follow the instructions to receive cryptocurrencies to your Ledger device.
